Grumman Goose G21 Bahamasair N86639
*******************************************************************************************
I recently came across a photo of this aircraft in 'Airliners' magazine, and since there aren't too many 'airline' Gooses (Geese?) around I decided to paint it. Its a fairly simple texture folder, but I think the results look good. I would have liked to make both the wheels and the pilots faces a bit darker, but,unfortunately,they are not textured.
Some of my family live in Nassau, so I often (sim)fly in that part of the world and its nice to have something suitable. Bahamasair had a few other planes which would make nice subjects for FS, for example the Shrike Commander (of which I have a very nice photograph!) and the first time I went there, my British Airways Boeing 707 (still in BOAC colours) parked next to a rather attractive Twin Otter in the same livery as this plane.
I also made a panel, using a lot of photos from various sources, part of another panel, and a mixture of default and other guages. However, I would need to contact so many other people to ask permission to use their files, and search out so many compulsory 'read -me ' notes, that I've decided to just keep it to myself. There are a few other panels available on the Net if you have a look. I think the Corsair sound is quite good, so I just use that.

Have fun flying!

CREDITS
**********

Mike Stone, for his excellent Goose; Bob Tremblay for 'waterland' effect,'Airliners'magazine for the photo.... and that's about it - oh,and Microsoft, of course for this excellent programme.

Installation
**************

Unzip the package into a temporary folder (presumably you've already done that if you are reading this!) and transfer the folder marked 'Bahamasair Goose' to the 'aircraft' folder of FS2002 (or FS2004)
That should be it, but if you want nice water effects, open up the 'effects' folder and cut and paste the 'fx' file into the main EFFECTS folder. If you dont, go to the cfg file and
alter it as shown below:

CFG file as it is at present:-[EFFECTS]

wake=fx_wake_s
//water=fx_spray
water=fx_waterland
dirt=fx_dirt
concrete=fx_sparks
touchdown=fx_tchdwn_s, 1

change it to:- [EFFECTS]

wake=fx_wake_s
water=fx_spray
//water=fx_waterland
dirt=fx_dirt
concrete=fx_sparks
touchdown=fx_tchdwn_s, 1

Any problems, e-mail me.
